Myspace Guy Tom Anderson, Your First Friend, Is Really Hot Now: Photo!
Is he still on your top eight friends section!? Myspace co-founder Tom Anderson, who is otherwise known as “Myspace Tom,” is really, really good-looking! The guy who became everyone’s first friend on the old-school website posted a rare selfie of himself via Instagram nearly two years ago — and it’s just making the rounds now.
Anderson, 44, helped develop the music and social networking site back in 2003 with Chris DeWolfe, but left in 2009. According to his about.me page, he’s now “retired and traveling the world taking photos” and can be found mainly stationed in L.A., Las Vegas, or Hawaii.

The guy with that pearly white smile often stays out of the limelight, and only shares professional scenery shots on Instagram. But 116 weeks ago, all of that (thankfully!) changed.
“I am behind on processing photos!” Anderson captioned a selfie at the time. “In other news, I think Japanese sushi is good for my skin.” The entrepreneur looked sleek in a jacket and baseball cap, but sadly didn’t pose in front of a dry-erase board like his famous Myspace profile default.
Anderson may have moved on, but his Myspace page is still verified. (Justin Timberlake invested in the Myspace relaunch back in 2011.) “Former first friend; I’m not working of the company now, y’all,” his bio reads. “Just a user like everyone else.”
